BUILD A PROJECT

A few months ago i started following Creative Kuts on facebook. Check out their website at . They post a scal file every week, you can request it and then they just ask for you to post your project to their facebook page. Last week's project was a graduation cap. I seriously made this project in less than 15 minutes, because to be honest, that is all the time I had and I was under the wire to post it. Oddly enough I don't have any important graduates in my life this year. I will save it for the future when I need something last minute. It's a super easy project and you can fill it with money or candy!

MY BIG FAT WEDDING FOLLOW UP

Thanks for all the great comments and projects from my fellow bloggers. Congrats to Tiffany, a fellow Jersey girl, for winning the gift certificate. I think someone was spreading a rumor about her letting me help her spend it!! My nephew's wedding was awesome and it was great getting to spend so much time with my family! There are quite a few of us! This is only about half of my mom's descendants. A new one will be added in the summer bringing the total up to 50!!

MY BIG FAT WEDDING BLOG HOP

Welcome to My Big Fat Wedding Blog Hop. We are a group of a talented ladies who love paper crafting (well most of us) and will be show casing Our Amazing Creations along they way. If you are visiting from http://Mary-fortheloveofart.blogspot.com then you are in the right place, if not, please go and start from the beginning at http://wwwpaperkraftsunlimiteddesings.blogspot.com Blog Hop Giveaway is............ $10.00 Gift Card om Ginger Snaps Scraps Here is what I came up with: These are items I made for my nephew’s fiance's bridal shower held in April. At the time, I didn’t’ realize I would be explaining how I made them so I forget a lot of the details such as size and ink color, sorry about that. For the treat boxes I used Tie the Knot, pages 72 and 73. I inked the edges of the dress with a ink (perhaps Lagoon from Close to My Heart) to match. I just used a generic paper pack I had on hand. fr
The floating frame is the M on page 60 monogram shadow. The date is from the Art Philosophy cart. It is done with vinyl so it is pretty forgiving if you make a mistake. It was the first time I made something like that and I was very pleased with it.
For the large box, I took a plain photo box and placed patterned paper in the middle. The wedding invitations were brown, beige and turquoise, so I tried to use colors that coordinated with it. I used the same M form page 60 in Tie the Knot. This time I used the monogram and monogram shadow cuts. The love birds are form pages 34 and 35. I finished it off with XOXO on page55.
The wedding card was actually for my other nephew who was married last fall. The Mr.& Mrs. Is from the Sweethearts cart. I seem to have misplaced this cartridge so I can’t give you any more details except that is the cart I used. I also ran the white through the Cuttlebug. The sentiment is a word art. This is my first Blog Hop ever and I really hope you enjoyed yourself. Please visit everyone and enjoy their fabulous work. Thanks to Vanessa for putting this all together!
